Job Description

SDR Manager

Verse Medical is building the modern software infrastructure to make hospital-quality care accessible everywhere. We're a well-funded Series C company on a mission to heal a fragmented system. Our platform connects the dots between providers, payors, and patients, ensuring people get the high-quality care they need, reliably and right where they live. We're growing fast and looking for people who are driven by this mission to join us!

We are seeking an experienced SDR Manager to oversee our SDR team, ensuring they meet and exceed lead generation targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, having progressed from an SDR role to an AE role, with a desire to leverage their experience in a leadership position. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent coaching skills and a proven track record of driving team success.

Your Contributions

Within your first year, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead and manage: Oversee the daily operations of the SDR team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure team members achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies: Create and execute strategies to improve lead generation, prospecting, and appointment-setting processes.
  • Training and development: Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the SDR team, focusing on best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Performance monitoring: Track and analyze key performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales team to align strategies and ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads to Account Executives.
  • Motivation and culture: Foster a positive and high-energy work environment, motivating the team through recognition, incentives, and team-building activities.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process to build a strong, cohesive SDR team.
The Skills and Experience You'll Leverage

We believe that diverse experiences and backgrounds lead to better solutions. While we have an idea of what will help someone succeed in this role, we are open to being convinced by your unique story and skills. If you believe you can achieve the outcomes above, we encourage you to apply.

Core skills and experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in the SDR and AE sales role as a pipeline builder and closer, and at least 1 year of experience as a sales leader.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a passion for developing talent and driving team success. This includes willingness to listen to call recordings and host coaching sessions.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets with a strategic approach to problem-solving and goal achievement.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Ability to learn new things quickly.
  • Highly motivated and interested in career growth.
Compensation, Benefits & Logistics

We believe in taking care of our team, both professionally and personally. Here's what we offer:

  • Meaningful compensation: $110,000 base salary ($150,000 OTE)
  • Comprehensive health & wellness: We cover 100% of your health insurance premium and provide access to high-quality dental and vision insurance plans for you and your dependents.
  • Plan for the future: We offer a 401(k) plan to help you save for your future. At this time, the company does not offer a 401(k) match.
  • Career growth: You'll have opportunities for rapid career advancement in a company that's at a major inflection point. We want you to grow with us.

Work environment & location:

  • This role is based in our New York City office in Chelsea. We have a hybrid model, with a requirement of 4 days per week in the office to foster collaboration and innovation.
Our Pledge for an Equitable Future

At Verse Medical, our mission is to deliver equitable, hospital-quality care to everyone, regardless of their background or where they live. We can only achieve this if our own team reflects the diversity of the patients we serve. We are committed to building a workplace where everyone feels a sense of belonging, where their contributions are valued, and where they can do their best work. We embrace diversity of all kinds: race, gender, age, religion, identity, experience. We are actively working to build a more inclusive and equitable world, starting from within our own walls. We are an equal opportunity employer.

We are also committed to providing a positive and accessible interview experience. If you require any accommodations to participate in our process, please contact us at recruiting@versemedical.com.
